Net against insects 45gr/m²
3 available product(s)
Anti-insect netting protects crops from major flying pests (such as carrot fly, cabbage leafhopper, flea beetles attacking turnips, radish and rocket) with a 0.8 mm x
1 mm mesh. This way you can avoid using any kind of repellent. This allows you to harvest completely healthy fruit and vegetables.
The net is a light 45 g/m², so you can place it directly in your vegetable garden. As the plants grow, they easily lift the net and can grow without the risk of being
attacked by insects.
Make sure the edges are well covered with a layer of soil to leave no gaps, and leave enough room for the plants to lift the net.
They can also be placed on risers.

Net against insects, protection of vegetables in the garden
Various pest lay eggs and feed on vegetables in your garden. It’s a serious problem because it makes crops unfit for consumption. For this reason, Maille Store definitely recommends using nets against insects.
Thanks to protecting vegetables, flying insects will not reach leaves and will not cause damage.
The net will protect your garden from the following insects:
- Carrot fly
- Cabbage butterfly
- Flea beetles which attack turnip, radish and rocket
- Phytomyza pubicornis
- Pea moth
- etc.
The net can also be attached to the ground to prevent entry of caterpillars and snails.
How to mount a net against insects?
There are two options of installing nets against insects:
They can be placed directly on crops. Thanks to the density of 45 gr/m2 the net is so light that it is lifted by growing vegetables.
It can also be simply spread on bows.
More information on the assembly of the net can be found in our tutorial: How to mount a net against insects?
